Involvement

Large Group

Large Group is our weekly fellowship meeting where we gather together for singing, prayer, and to hear clear, vivid, and practical teaching from God's Word.  In the Fall of 2009 we will be meeting every Tuesday night from 7:30-8:30 in The Varsity, on the bottom floor of Hughes Trigg.  This is a great opportunity to meet people and to check out RUF for yourself.

Small Groups

Looking for a place to get to know God's Word and other college students in a deeper way?  Our small groups are designed to do just that.  Let us know if you're interested and we will steer you in the right direction.  Also, check back at the beginning of the Fall and we'll have more details about the "Who? What? When? and Where?" of our small groups.

Worship Groups

Worship Groups are just groups of students that meet to go to church together on Sundays, and perhaps grab a bite to eat afterwards.  RUF is supported by three local churches in our area, and we have groups of students at each place.  Fill out our student interest form and we'll make sure someone contacts you about joining the caravan.

Ministry Team

Our ministry team consists of a group of students (upperclassmen) who are committed to learning about and doing ministry together through RUF @ SMU.  We rely heavily on our student leaders to steward and shape the ministry God has given us.  Contact one of our staff members for more information.

Intramurals

Whether you're competitive and love to play anything and everything, or like Allie Jordan who once told me, "I don't do sports," you are welcome to join one of our "RUFraid" intramural teams.  There may be a small fee ($5) involved, but its negligible compared to the amount of fun you'll have.  Contact Brooks Igo, our intramural chair, for more information.
